About Us
Selah Ridge isn't a facility, it's a home. We care for just three residents at a time, which means every person here gets the kind of attention, patience, and companionship you'd expect from family. With a 1:3 caregiver-to-resident ratio, our caregivers know each resident's routines, preferences, and needs by heart. We believe growing older shouldn't mean giving up the comforts of home. That's why Selah Ridge is exactly that: a residential home, where its residents share meals, conversation, and daily life in a warm, familiar setting instead of an institutional one.Our caregivers serve with heart, patience, and genuine care because to us, this isn't just a job. It's a family. Why choose Selah Ridge?
Choosing a place for your loved one is never easy, and at Selah Ridge, we don't take that trust lightly. Rhonda's decades of hands-on medical and caregiving experience mean residents are cared for by someone who has truly seen it all — and knows how to handle it with steady, capable hands. That experience, paired with genuine heart, has earned Selah Ridge recognition as Best of Denton three years in a row, a reflection of the confidence this community has placed in us.
But what truly sets Selah Ridge apart is the day-to-day experience. Residents enjoy home-cooked meals, engaging activities, and comforts like a media room and salt-water pool — all within a safe, secure environment supported by round-the-clock monitoring and emergency preparedness. It's the kind of care and comfort families hope for, and the kind of home residents deserve.
About the Owner
Selah Ridge was conceived in the heart and soul of Rhonda Domon, who has been providing care for others since 2002. What started as a passion for helping people has grown into a home where residents are treated like an extension of herself.
Rhonda's path to Selah Ridge came through decades of hands-on experience. She began her career studying nursing, later becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant and Certified Medical Assistant. She has worked the surgical floor at hospitals, cared for residents at the Denton State School, and provided at-home health care giving her the depth of experience that spans nearly every setting senior and medical care can offer. Eventually, she made the decision to go private, opening the doors to what would become Selah Ridge LLC.
Today, Selah Ridge is a small residential home limited to just three residents at a time. What separates Rhonda from others in the field is that she isn’t building a facility with the purpose of maximizing occupancy, she built Selah Ridge inside of her home, and she treats every resident as an extension of her family.
Rhonda is a proud wife and mother of two daughters. Her care for family extends naturally into the way she runs Selah Ridge. She takes pride in being the “finish line” for her residents, a place where they are cared for above and beyond industry standards. Her dedication has been recognized as Best of Denton in 2024, 2025, and 2026; but for Rhonda, the real reward is in the relationships she builds with every resident who calls Selah Ridge home.
